American rock band REM  broke up recently. The band was together for 3 decades. They have made hit songs such as "everybody hurts" and "Losing my religion"."As lifelong friends and co-conspirators, we have decided to call it a day as a band," the band said on their website "We walk away with a great sense of gratitude, of finality, and of astonishment at all we have accomplished."
